Dodge Cares, Inc. Fundraising Campaign Groundbreaking

Dodge Cares, Inc. will kick-off their 2006 fundraising campaign ?Creating Hope...from the ground up? project with a groundbreaking Thursday, February 16 at 2:00 pm, located at Copperfields Subdivision, lots 92 and 93 (S. HWS Cleveland Boulevard at approximately 198th St.). Through the generous contributions of Brau Builders, Inc., Jordan Michael Signature Homes, their subcontractors, listing agents, Jeff Rensch and Dirk Blume, Copperfields, LLC., and NP Dodge Company, two homes will be built and sold. The proceeds from the sales of these homes will be donated to Dodge Cares, Inc. for distribution to 15 approved charitable agencies. Those attending will include Dodge Cares, Inc. Board of Directors, dignitaries, charity representatives, builders, subcontractors, sales associates, employees, and the local press.

The approved charitable agencies include Care Corps, Family Service Transitions, Habitat for Humanity-Omaha, Heartland Family Services, Lydia House, MICAH House, Open Door Mission, Phoenix House, Sarpy County Habitat for Humanity, Siena/Francis House, Mary Catherine McAuley Center, formerly St. Vincent de Paul, The Stephen Center, Together, Inc. of Metropolitan Omaha, Wesley House and Youth Emergency Services.

In 2002, NP Dodge Company founded Dodge Cares, Inc., a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation supported by NP Dodge sales associates, employees, companies and community contributors. Dodge Cares, Inc. contributes to qualified nonprofit organizations that provide food, shelter and comfort for the homeless, displaced and abused in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.
